White Oak Conservation Area

A 20 acre man-made lake is the focal point of this area, located 3 miles south of Rose Hill. the lake has been stocked with bass, catfish, and bluegill. it is equipped with a boat ramp, dock, and fishing jetty. A nature trail with self-guided interpretive markers has been developed to highlight the natural history of the area, and permit easy access to the shoreline. Two picnic shelters, grills, playground equipment, and restroom facilities make White Oak a local favorite for family picnics, reunions, and other group events. During the winter season, White Oak is a popular destination for ice fishing and cross country skiing enthusiasts.
