Ever-Tru Wilderness Area

This 74 acre area can be found 3 miles north of New Sharon on the county line road west off of Hwy. 146. The rolling hills are dominated by oak-hickory forests and grass covered uplands. A small pond nestled in the timber offers great bullhead fishing for young anglers. Both prairie and woodland wildflowers can be found in this transitional ecosystem. Opportunities for hiking, hunting, and bird watching abound.
